Part 1 of a 3-Part Experiential IFS Series
An Introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS)
For Individuals & Couples
Every nervous system learns how to protect itself.
From pain. From overwhelm. From loss. From not being met.
Those protections don’t stop just because we’re adults.
They become patterns. Reactions. Distance. Conflict.
This workshop begins a three-part series designed to move from understanding protection → restoring internal
leadership → creating real connection with self and others.
WHAT WE’LL EXPLORE IN PART ONE
• What “parts” actually are (and what they’re not)
• Why protection always precedes connection
• How nervous system reactivity overrides logic
• The difference between being blended and being in relationship with a part
• How protectors show up in intimacy and conflict
• How connection becomes possible when protection no longer has to fight
This is experiential, paced, and embodied.
